Sunday Opportunities
A variety of Sunday school classes are offered each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the upper level of the Sunday school wing.
“Growing Deeper on Sunday Evenings” programs are offered during the fall, winter, and spring semesters of the year. These programs begin at 5:30 p.m. with a light dinner followed at 6:00 p.m. by topical Bible studies.
Other Opportunities
Covenant Connection Groups were formed to provide adults with the small group experience of fellowship. Groups meet at different times during the week. Each member nurtures, supports, and prays for each other in their particular group.
“Fun, Food, & Fellowship” is for senior adults over 60. Meeting every other month on the third Wednesday at noon, senior adults enjoy a potluck followed by a time of learning and entertainment specifically geared to seniors.
The Wesleyan Circle of United Methodist Women meets on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in members’ homes.
The Asbury Circle of United Methodist Women meets on the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the church. The women’s circles serve the women of Covenant Church in providing opportunities for fellowship and learning as well as outreach opportunities in the United Methodist Church and surrounding communities.
The Men’s Prayer Breakfast meets each Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. at Covenant Church. Men enjoy a delicious breakfast and fellowship as they read the Bible, pray, and experience the power for God’s love.
