Nursing Home Ministry
What a wonderfully gracious God we serve! His mercy is everlasting! I had the pleasure of sharing that message with our senior citizens at the Richwood Nursing Home. And as a way of proving that message, God placed it on the hearts of five beautiful children, who attend our church, to let Jesus shine through them. Riley, Reagan, Joel, Elias, and their friend Nate, sang “Jesus Loves Me” using sign language. One sweet woman jumped out of her seat to join the children in their song. Talk about having faith like a child! God was moving in our hearts! This is what the JOY of the Lord is all about. Two months ago, I asked the residents if they would join me as praying partners, praying for our nations revival. I told them God was answering their prayers right here in our church. Since they have been praying for us, God has doubled our choir and our pastor is excited about feeling the spirit moving among us! Now if that’s not a gracious God, I don’t know what is. Come and join us the third Saturday of every month at 10:30 am. I promise, you will be the one who will receive the blessing.
